NMCI is an experienced contractor in industrial and furnace construction. Our managers, supervisors, and craftsmen are held to a high standard on safety, quality work, and meeting project schedules. We are a full service general contractor specializing in industrial construction — including material unloading, batch house installation, furnace construction, and product handling.
National Machinery & Conveyor's masons have over 35 years experience in furnace construction and hot repairs. We can perform cold repairs — from as-is repairs to major furnace expansions. We also have extensive experience with oxy-fuel furnace conversions. Our hot repair crews can perform major hot checker changes, and fix small rat holes. Our masons can be mobilized on very short notice.
While the construction industry has seen numerous changes over the years, the set of principles and values upon which NMCI was founded has not. These values combine dedication, hard work, a sense of family value, and quality craftsmanship, and are instilled in each of our employees. With a sense of pride in our past, and an eye toward the future, NMCI is committed to building enduring relationships with our clients, which are founded upon trust and integrity.
National Machinery & Conveyor, Inc. (NMCI) has been in business since 1968.
NMCI provides a number of construction services, including:
In 1968 J & J Erectors was formed to perform machinery maintenance and installation, crane and fork truck rental, conveyor installations, and steel erection for customers, both locally and across the country.
After many successful years of business, operations were turned over to Mike Spencer in October of 1985. Mike's experience on the job as foreman and his education prepared him to take over the helm at J & J Erectors and to take the company to the next level.
Shortly after the millennium, the local economy suffered setbacks with the closing of some key manufacturing facilities. In order to reduce costs and increase efficiency, Mike Spencer joined forces with Josh Clifton to form National Machinery & Conveyor, Inc.
Josh has 15 years of experience in the material handling and conveyor industry, both as an estimator and field installer. He understands the needs and problems that manufacturers face in the moving of products and materials.
Mike's many years of experience and Josh's youth and energy combine to provide you with the BEST service in the industry. This is why we can proudly say,
